Pandas Successfully Mated After 10 Years Of Trying

By News Apr 8, 2020 | 3:07 PM

Giant Pandas are considered a vulnerable species in the wild and apparently they are known for not being too good at mating on their own. In this case, pandas Le Le and Ying Ying from the Ocean Park zoo in Hong Kong, have successfully mated after 10 years of trying. While zoos try to keep pandas alive with artificial insemination, natural mating is way more effective.

Apparently, this happened right after the zoo closed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
