An arrest is made in a February crash along Pella Road and Highway 43 where a 20-year-old Lincoln woman died.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says an investigation of the February 15 accident where Morgan Rodgers was hit head on by 34-year-old Jeffrey Woutzke of Auburn shows he was under the influence of drugs.
A search warrant found 3.6 grams of a controlled substance in the vehicle and Woutzke is charged with motor vehicle homicide and possession of a controlled substance.
Emergency crews responded to the area when they found Woutzke driving southbound while Rodgers traveled northbound at the time of the collision. Rogers died at the scene, while Woutzke suffered non-life threatening injuries.
