A man is in the hospital after being hit by a car over the weekend.
The Lincoln Police Department reports police and Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews were sent to the intersection of 1st and Cornhusker around 9:30 pm Saturday on reports of a pedestrian-vehicle collision.
On arrival, a 36-year-old man was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor and the driver claims to have had the green light.
An investigation is ongoing.
