Economic leaders from across the state are being recruited to join a state task force aimed at reopening sectors affected by the pandemic.
At Monday’s gubernatorial COVID-19 meeting, Director of Economic Development Anthony Goins said the Get Nebraska Growing Task Force will bring together state leaders in communications, hospitality, agriculture and other industries.
“Together we will work to come up with guidelines that prioritize safety,” said Goins. ” At the same time, we want to allow businesses to operate as smoothly as possible based on the current circumstances.”
Goins will head up the task force.
