A Lincoln woman reports close to $50,000 in jewelry was stolen from her home.
Officer Erin Spilker said police were called to a residence in the 2500 block of B Street around 8:30 pm Tuesday where a 71-year-old victim reported the jewelry was taken sometime in the past month.
“The jewelry included necklaces and rings,” said Spilker.
She adds that the thieves appeared to gain entrance through the home’s back door.
An investigation is ongoing.
