Bryan Medical released statistics Thursday of the age breakdown of patients who tested positive for COVID-19 through all of Bryan’s various testing options. As of Wednesday, April 29th, Bryan had tested 3,450 people with 296 of those coming back positive for COVID-19.
Bob Ravenscroft, Bryan Vice-President for Advancement detailed the breakdown by age as follows:

Bob Ravenscroft
Vice-President for Advancement
7% under 18 years of age
37% 19-44 years of age
29% 45-54 years of age
19% 55-64 years of age
6% 65-74 years of age
2% 75-84 years of age
0.4% 85 years and older
Ravenscroft reports Bryan has had only 1-person over the age of 85 that has tested positive. He noted that while most people understand that this is a disease that primarily is targeting the elderly, in fact it does not discriminate by age.
Bryan Medical has ramped up testing capabilities over the past few weeks with the drive-thru facility operating daily at the Bryan LifePointe Campus on South 27th Street in Lincoln. The Bryan Mobile Testing Unit and walk-up clinic will be deployed in the coming days, most likely to the Crete area and areas in and around Lincoln that will be coordinated with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department.
