The state is trying to get the word out about a website designed to help residents find childcare during the pandemic.
At Monday’s gubernatorial press briefing, Senior Vice President of the Nebraska Children and Families Foundation, Betty Medinger, encourages parents in need to go to nechildcarereferral.org.
Bedinger said the site, “builds a base for us to go forward in the future for a robust childcare resource and referral tool in Nebraska.”
On the site, parents and guardians can search for nearby providers via location, provider type, age, and more.
The site was developed with assistance from a variety of organizations, including the Department of Health, Human Services, Department of Education, and First Five Nebraska.
