A woman is arrested after threatening children with a knife.
Lincoln Police Officer Erin Spilker says officers were sent to a residence in the 1800 block of Knox just after 3 Am Sunday on reports of a weapons violation in progress.
The caller had said that 33-year-old Lucy Lookinghorse was intoxicated and threatening the caller’s teenage children with a knife.
“She was able to get her children away and then locked Lookinghorse into a room,” said Spilker. “However, Lookinghorse began to kick the door trying to get out.”

The victim said another adult in the building had to hold the door closed while everyone else exited the residence through a window.
During the incident, Lookinghorse reportedly threw a laptop into the parking lot and smashed a bedroom window.
Police found multiple knives in the room where she was being held, one of which was identified as the one used to threaten the teens.
Lookinghorse was arrested for use of a weapon to commit a felony, terroristic threats, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest.
