Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird says she’s considering pardons for peaceful protestors who broke curfew two weeks ago, but said she won’t give it to everyone.

“I do not intend to pardon anyone who committed an act of violence if that has been documented because I don’t condone violence,” she said.

Baird publically announced her position Friday afternoon at a town-hall like listening session moderated by councilwoman Sondra Washington as Police Chief Jeff Bliemeister was present.
