A man who stole hundreds of pills from a grocery store pharmacy is arrested.

Officer Luke Bonkiewicz says police responded to the Super Saver at 2525 Pine Lake Road around 8:40 a.m Wednesday after employees reported a man caught on security video entering and exiting the pharmacy after first failing to cash a Coinstar receipt.

The store reported a loss of several prescription pills including 60 Oxycodone pills.

Bonkiewicz said that just before 5 p.m, employees at the Super Saver again contacted police over an individual looking to cash a Coinstar receipt.

Upon arrival, the individual denied knowing anything about the earlier robbery, but, thanks to store security footage, police were able to match the license plate of the individual with that of the burglar.

After a search of his vehicle and apartment,  20-year-old Henry Nelson was arrested for multiple counts of burglary and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Bonkiewicz adds other stolen prescriptions were also located in Nelson’s apartment.
