Lincoln police are looking for three men involved in a fight that ended with a gunshot fired.

Police were called to 20th and Washington around 4:30 Thursday afternoon to talk to a 28-year-old man.  He told police he was involved in a text message argument with two others and the brother of one wanted to fight him.  The victim arrived home and waited for the man to arrive for the fight.

The man did arrive and brought two friends with him.  During the fight, the victim knocked the man to the ground.  When the victim approached the man, his two friends lifted their shirts to show a handgun in their waistbands.  The three then got back into a car, drove down an alley, and stopped.  One man got out and fired a single shot in the direction of the victim.  The vehicle then took off.

Police interviewed several witnesses and found a shell casing at the scene.  That investigation continues.
