The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department raised the COVID-19 Risk Dial from low to mid-Orange level, meaning there is an increased risk of contracting the virus.
Officials say there are 49 new cases reported today bringing the weekly total so far to 300. There were 331 confirmed cases last week.
Reports show that nearly half of all confirmed cases are those aged 40 and under.
While the mask requirement remains in place, no new preventative health measures were put in place. Health officials encourage residents to continue to wear masks, practice good hand hygiene and social distance.
The Heath Department reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 2,718 with 1.008 reported recoveries.
