The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a Flash Flood warning for parts of southwest Richardson County, southern Pawnee County and southeast Gage County until 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The National Weather Service added Cass County in a Flash Flood Warning until 6:15 p.m. Wednesday.
At 12:33 p.m., radar indicated storms producing heavy rain in the area. Up to two inches of rain had fallen along the Kansas border and another 1 to 2 inches is possible. This could impact small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses and low lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flooding include Wymore, Pawnee City, Odell, Summerfield, Du Bois, Barneston and Liberty.
