Lincoln Police are looking for suspects in the assault of a 28 year old woman at 9 p.m. Thursday night at 9th and P Street.
When police arrived they saw a group of people leaving the area. The woman reported she was working in the Taco Loco Lincoln food truck parked at a gas station at 205 N 9th Street and had walked out for a break. She was approached by a group of people who assaulted her and then took her phone. Police say she had significant facial injuries.
Witnesses say that during the assault, it appeared as though people were trying to get into the food truck. The woman declined medical treatment and left with family members. Officers searched the area and are analyzing video footage from businesses in the area.
