Over the weekend and through today, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services has experienced technical difficulties reporting lab test results. The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department expects to receive additional test results from this delay soon and will include those results in future updates as they are received from the State.
Meanwhile, the Health Department reports 44 new lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported Tuesday, bringing the community total to 4.542. Again, further results are pending.
Recoveries are up from 1,998 to 2.023. The Lancaster County positivity rate remains at 7.3%, the state rate at 9.5% and the national rate down from 8.9% to 8.6%.
There are currently 34 people hospitalized and two are on ventilators.
Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath, repeated shaking with chills, repeated muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell. If you have symptoms, please get tested. Testing is now open to all Lancaster County residents by appointment only.
Testing starts by taking a free online risk assessment available at BryanHealth.com, CHIHealth.com, or at TestNebraska.co
