In an effort to support law enforcement, patriotism and love of country, a Back the Blue event is set for October 25th at the Eagle Raceway.
Organizer Bill Williams with Patriotic Productions tells KLIN News this is a free family friendly event. He is hoping that residents will join local law enforcement, military and their families in the outdoor grandstand at Eagle Raceway for an afternoon of fun.
Special guest is country music artist Lee Greenwood who will perform the National Anthem and God Bless the USA. Bud Synhorst, President and CEO of the Lincoln Independent Business Association will emcee the program that starts at 2 p.m. Events include a jump by the Lincoln Parachute Team, food, entertainment, music, flags and guest speakers.
The event as at no charge and Williams is hoping for a large turnout. It runs from noon until 4 p.m.
