Lincoln Police investigators saw a driver around 5:13 p.m. Wednesday near 48th and Madison Avenue who was likely driving on a suspended license. The followed the vehicle when the driver parked at 40th and St. Paul Avenue. The driver, identified as 41 year old Kristian Hespen was approached by investigators and then took off running. He was arrested a short distance away.
Investigators searched Hespen and found two baggies containing suspected methamphetamine, a baggie with 4 Alprazolam and a single Hydrocodone pill. The 2012 Toyota Camery Hespen had been driving had been reported stolen on October 1st in Lincoln
Officers cited and booked Hespen for possession of the methamphetamine and prescription medications, theft by receiving for having a stolen vehicle and driving while suspended.
