$35,000 In Medical Supplies Taken In Package Theft

Lincoln Police are investigating the theft of $35,000 in medical supplies in a reverse porch pirate case.   Officers were called to the 7800 block of S. 97th Bay on Monday, November 9th around 8 p.m.  The victim told police that around 4 p.m., he left several packages near his garage to be picked up by Fed Ex.  At 4:20 p.m., the Fed Ex driver knocked on the man’s door asking where the packages were.  The victim works for a spinal implant supply company and reported the contents of the packages were valued at $35,000.

Investigators searched the area and requested video from neighbors.  During the time frame of the theft, a red pickup with a ladder rack was seen in the area.  Investigators are asking for help identifying the vehicle.
