A 37 year old man remains in critical condition after a shooting in the 200 block of Blue Flame Road Sunday at 12:30 a.m. Callers to police stated they heard an argument and then what sounded like several gun shots. Officers arrived to find a vehicle with a window broken and blood drops in the driveway leading to a house. Police initially thought that someone had retreated to the home after being injured and searched the home but no one was inside.
Another officer then arrived at a hospital just as a the man was being dropped off with a number of gunshot wounds. The man underwent emergency surgery and his injuries are considered life-threatening.
Investigators determined the vehicle found at the scene of the shots fired belongs to the victim. Crime scene technicians searched the area and spoke with witnesses.
