On Monday at 7 a.m., Lincoln Fire and Rescue and Police were called to the 2500 block of N 9th on a report of a stabbing. A 24 year old man reported he was walking near between 13th and 14th from D to E Streets when he was hit from behind. It was not until he arrived home an hour later that he released he had been stabbed in the back. He reported to police he did not see the attacker.
Officers searched the area for evidence. The man was treated at a hospital for injuries and will recover.
