An attorney for Aubrey Trail testing positive for COVID-19 delays his sentencing.

The multi-day hearing will move to March to see if Trail will get the death penalty for the killing of 24-year-old Sydney Loofe.

Friday, the defense filed a motion to continue the aggravation and mitigation hearing, which was set to begin next week in Wilber.

In the filing, one of Trail’s attorney’s listed a number of COVID-19-related concerns like out of state witnesses traveling to Nebraska.
