The Nebraska Department of Transportation report 13 fatal vehicle crashes on state roads during the month of November.
- These 13 fatalities occurred in 12 fatal crashes.
- Four of the eleven vehicle occupants killed were not using seatbelts, two were using seatbelts, and five had
seatbelt usage marked as unknown. - 10 of the fatalities were in rural locations*.
- There was one fatality on the interstate, seven on other highways, and five on local roads.
- Icy roads were a contributing factor in three of the fatality crashes.
- Two of the fatalities were motorcyclists.
