Bryan Medical Center now has COVID-19 self-screening kiosks at all entrances at Bryan East Campus and Bryan West Campus.
The kiosks are designed to speed up and make the screening process easier for visitors, staff and providers at all entrances. The touch screen reminds everyone entering the hospital that masks are required. They ask two COVID-19 questions, one about the symptoms and the other is positive or pending tests of COVID-19. The kiosk then takes a person’s temperature. If all is cleared, a sticker will be provided and the person entering can be on their way. Hand sanitizer stations are next to the kiosks so individuals can use sanitizer after touching the screen or camera.
The kiosks are designed to speed up the entry process while easing staff needs. Staff have been manning the entry points since the pandemic started in March and this will free them up to perform their regular duties. There will also be individuals available if people need help using the touch-screen or if they fail the entry system.
