Lincoln Police were called to D’Leon’s Restaurant at 1212 South Street on Christmas Eve just before 1 p.m. after receiving a report that a man pulled a knife on diners inside.
Police found he man left the restaurant but while inside he approached a 72 year old woman who was eating. The man started making statements about tabbing people in the heart. Employees were able to get the victim behind the counter and called police.
The man, 55 year old William D. McKnight was located a short distance away. . He had a knife on him and was ultimately arrested for Terroristic Threats and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony.
