The Nebraska Department of Labor has released unemployment claim statistics for the week of January 24 – January 30.
New unemployment claims for the week of January 17th through the 23rd totaled 2,642. New Pandemic Unemployment claims for that week totaled 167.
Regular unemployment claims for the week ending January 23rd totaled 15.767 and PUA claims totaled 2,280.
The only increase for the week ending January 30th was in the number of continued PUA claims where there were 3 more compared to the week prior.
