…WIND CHILL ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CST THIS MORNING…

Very cold wind chills as low as 20 to 30 below zero at times across portions of east central, northeast and southeast Nebraska and southwest and west central Iowa.

The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.

Wednesday through Monday: 

Cold weather will continue through next week. Wind chills will become hazardous at times, especially from Friday through early next week. Wind chills could range from 20 to 32 below Friday, Saturday, and Monday mornings, and could be as lows 32 to 42 below zero Sunday morning.

Wind chill warnings will eventually be needed. There will also be another chance of snow Wednesday night into Thursday morning, and then again Friday into Saturday. Total accumulations could range 1 to 4 inches over the multi day period.
