Lincoln Police are still looking for a Kia Sorento that damaged a police cruiser about 10:45 Monday night. LPD Sergeant Tyler Cooper tells KLIN News officers were called to the Luxury Inn near the airport on a report of suspicious activity in the parking lot.
Responding officers made contact with the individuals and during their encounter the suspects backed the vehicle at a high rate of speed into the cruiser causing some damage to the cruiser and significant damage to the Kia.
A short pursuit on Cornhusker Highway was terminated due to public safety concerns. Police are still looking for the suspects and vehicle.
