A hot start, then a cold ending for Nebraska (5-3) in Minneapolis, Minnesota this weekend.

The Huskers opened with a 10-4 win over Ohio State Friday before a 4-0 victory against Iowa Saturday. But Sunday saw a pair of losses, 6-4 to Ohio State then 3-1 to Iowa, as each team was swept on their double-header day.

Cade Povich and Chance Hroch got wins on the weekend, both going 6.0 innings in their outings. Povich racked up 12 strikeouts in his Friday win over Ohio State. Hroch notched seven strikeouts in his Iowa win.

Spencer Schwellenbach earned the save against Iowa. He also had four hits on the weekend, including a 3-for-5 effort Friday.

Jaxon Hallmark, Max Anderson, Logan Foster, and Brice Matthews all hit home runs.

Nebraska will play three games against Iowa this weekend in Iowa City.
