Lincoln Police tracked down a man suspected of burglary, domestic assault and on an outstanding DUI warrant. On April 9th, police were flagged down by a man near 25th and O street saying he had been robbed while walking home. The suspect hit him in the head, showed a handgun and demanded the beer he was carrying. An officer had been sent to that area a short time earlier when a passerby called to report a disturbance and provided descriptions matching the victim and the robber.
Police were able to identify the suspect as 27 year old Trill Reynolds. Officers went to Reynolds home where they saw him passed out in a chair and the stolen beer next to him. Reynolds had an outstanding warrant for DUI out of Seward County and was taken into custody at that time for robbery and the outstanding warrant.
Reynolds was also wanted on a domestic assault case on April 8th when a family member called to report that a 33 year old female reported she had been assaulted by Reynolds. Officers tried to contact the victim at Reynolds’ home near 27th and O Street but no one answered the door. The victim stated Reynolds showed a black handgun and threatened to kill her.. The victim also said she was not allowed to leave the home.
Officers searched Reynolds’ home and found a black Sig Sauer BB gun inside his home. Reynolds was then also arrested for terroristic threats, false imprisonment and domestic assault.
