Lincoln Police make an arrest in the burglary of Russ’s Market at 15th and Coddington on November 21, 2020. Police were called to the store when they received a report of a person seen running from a broken door. Officers found the door shattered and bottles of alcohol and tobacco products scattered throughout the store. Officers reviewed store security video and saw three people entering the store and leaving with about $200 in tobacco and alcohol products. Officers at that time processed the scene and searched the area for suspects.
Police conducted a number of interviews and through the analysis of digital evidence, officers were able to positively identify the three, one being 19 year old Evan Elicerio. Just before 11 a.m. on April 20th, officers conducted a traffic stop and Elicerio was taken into custody for the burglary.
On December 11th, 2020, a 16-year-old male was referred for this Burglary. The third individual has been identified and investigators are not looking for any other suspects at this time.
