Lincoln Police were sent to the Old Pub at 420 S 11th Street on Tuesday, April 20th to investigate a call regarding a man with a knife.  Officers spoke to an employee who said a man walked into the bar though the back door around 11 p.m.  He was carrying a knife and walked around the bar, threatening to kill people inside, including the employee.

The man left the building but he then approached a woman delivering food.  When she tried to drive away, the man started making slashing motions with the knife at her and her vehicle.

Police were able to get a good description of the man and they located 45 year old Jeremy Sanders near 10th to 11th and Lincoln Mall.  He was wearing an empty knife sheath on his belt.  Officers continued the search and they found the knife hidden in the bushes on the corner of 11th and Lincoln Mall that matched the description given by victims.

Sanders was taken into custody for terroristic threats, use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, tampering with physical evidence and possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
