A man is recovering after being shot around 10:30 Monday morning in the 15-hundred block of D Street. LPD says a witness reported hearing gunshots and heard a man say he had been wounded.
When officers arrived they found shell casings and a blood trial leading to an apartment but no one injured. A short time later officers were told a man was driven to a hospital in a private vehicle with wounds from the shooting.
