Lincoln Police received a report of a GMC Sierra driving all over the road at 24th and A Street around 2:30 Saturday morning. The caller reported the vehicle had hit a fire hydrant.

Officers arrived and found the Sierra disabled in the intersection of 24th and Randolph. The driver, 24 year old Austyn Jenks was passed out inside and officers suspected alcohol was a factor.

Officers searched the area and found the Sierra had hit five vehicles parked on the east side of the 24th Street from B to C Street. The Sierra had lost one of its tires during the collision and Jenks continued to drive until it stopped on Randolph.

Jenks was taken to a hospital due to injuries from the accidents. A blood draw was also done as part of the DUI investigation. He was cited for five counts of leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving and driving on a suspended license.
