Gas prices have been soaring to record numbers in the past few months. The U.S. hasn’t seen prices like these since 2008. It can get even worse due to the current invasion of Ukraine and the oil bans placed by the United States on Russia. There is a gas station in Burnsville, N.C. that surprised drivers last week when they dropped their gas prices to $2.25/gallon. The owners say they just wanted to help people, even though they are obviously taking a loss by cutting prices.
