Lincoln Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects in two separate cases. One involves a burglary at a south Lincoln apartment complex, and the other involves a pair of shoplifters who stole numerous items from a local Walmart.
The first case occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Monday, March 31, 2025, at an apartment complex near 46th and Old Cheney Road.
Video Forensics Technician for the Lincoln Police Department Becky Keller says video surveillance captured three individuals using a prybar to break into the workshop of the complex. Once inside, the group took over $4,300 worth of tools, including drills, a hammer drill, a planer, a pole saw, an electric welder, several Milwaukee yard tools, among others.
Investigators say two getaway vehicles were used: a newer Jeep Compass and an older Toyota Corolla which was missing a front bumper and had significant wear and tear to the hood and roof of the vehicle.
Video and photos from the incident are available below.
The second case occurred on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the Walmart location near N. 85th and Fremont Street.
Keller says a couple was captured on camera grabbing a duffle bag, walking around the store, and loaded it up with clothing, jewelry, and other items.
Investigators are particularly interested in sharing this case due to the many identifying markers on the suspects which the community may recognize. The male had unique tattoos on both cheeks, his left arm, right arm, and on the left side of his neck. The female had a tattoo on her left hand, right hand, and left side of her neck as well.
The duo left in a silver Oldsmobile Alero with a darker mark on the back passenger side, below the gas door.
Photos of the suspects are available below.
