A crash involving a school bus caused a gas leak in a north Lincoln neighborhood late Wednesday morning. LFR Battalion Chief Aaron Pospisil tells KLIN News it happened just before noon at 11th and Garber Street.
An SUV and the bus collided and caused the SUV to drive off the road and into a house. “Broke off the gas meter and we had pretty high gas reading inside the residence.” The gas leak was shut off and LFR crews ventilated the house.
LPS confirms to KLIN News that seven students were on board the bus, but no injuries were reported. The investigation continues into the cause of the crash.
