Lincoln residents are invited to attend a public open house on Tuesday, May 14, to learn more about the upcoming rehabilitation of Adams Street between 36th and 49th streets.
Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) says the open house will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 2723 North 50th Street. Attendees can meet with project team members to ask questions and view details about the planned improvements, construction schedule, and phasing. No formal presentation is planned.
The one-mile project includes concrete repairs, resurfacing, pedestrian ramp reconstruction, curb and gutter work, and upgrades to the pedestrian crossing signal near 46th Street for increased safety.
Construction is expected to begin in late May and wrap up in early 2026. More information is available at lincoln.ne.gov.
