The Nebraska Department of Corrections says an inmate is missing from the Community Corrections Center in Lincoln.  A spokesperson says Tomica Anderson did not return to the facility Sunday afternoon following a religious furlough.

Anderson started her sentence on November 14, 2024. She was sentenced to five to six years for burglary out of Douglas County. The department says she has a tentative release date of March 29, 2027. Anderson is a 31-year-old Black female, 5’ 2”, 140 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who sees her or knows where she is asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.  CCC-L is one of two community custody facilities operated by NDCS.  Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility.

Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
