Lincoln Transportation and Utilities today announced that the First Street Trail at the Oak Creek Bridge will be closed to pedestrians beginning Tuesday, May 6, for bridge repairs.
The trail is expected to reopen Friday, May 9, using a temporary pedestrian connection until the bridge work is complete.
Trail users are advised to plan ahead and to use alternate routes.
