Capital Humane Society is reducing adoption fees by 50% on all animals now through Sunday, June 1, as part of its “Soak up the Love” promotion.
The Pieloch Pet Adoption Center is currently at full capacity for cats and dogs, and the admissions center has only 9 open dog kennels remaining. Seventeen adoptable pets are waiting to transfer into the adoption center but can’t due to lack of space.
The promotion includes all dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, and small animals like rabbits and guinea pigs. Standard license and rabies fees may still apply.
The humane society encourages the community to adopt, foster, or help spread the word. Adoption and foster information is available at capitalhumanesociety.org.
