A two-vehicle crash at 14th and ‘L’ Streets Tuesday afternoon sent three people to the hospital. LPD LT. Jason Goodwin tells KLIN news a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica driven by a 46-year-old Columbus woman was westbound on ‘L’ Street and a 2009 Subaru Outback driven by a 59-year-old Lincoln man was northbound on 14th Street.
“The driver of the Chrysler violated a red traffic signal and crashed into the Subaru,” Goodwin says. “The impact of the crash caused the Subaru to roll onto its roof.” The driver and passenger of the Chrysler along with the driver of the Subaru were transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Chrysler was cited and released for failure to obey a traffic-control device.
