Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen launched his re-election campaign on Thursday morning, touting his record of delivering conservative wins for Nebraska and promising to continue fighting alongside President Trump.
“I ran for governor with a clear mission: make our great state even greater,” Pillen said in a campaign video. “Together, we are doing just that. “We’ve delivered tax relief, defended Nebraska’s conservative values, and proudly advanced President Trump’s agenda.”
Pillen says Nebraska is stronger, safer, and freer. “But if you learn anything growing up on the farm, there’s always more work to do,” In the campaign video, Pillen said during his first-term he delivered historic tax relief, raised pay for state troopers, signed constitutional carry into law, and helped President Trump secure the border.
Pillen also highlighted Nebraska’s successful fight in banning men in girls’ sports, stopping sex changes for minors, and ending woke DEI. Pillen’s re-election, which can be viewed HERE. In response to Pillen’s announcement, Nebraska Democratic Party Chair Jane Kleeb issued this statement.
“Governor Pillen will have to answer for why he is choosing slum lords and bed bugs over Nebraskans. Or why he has failed to lower property taxes. Or why he chooses to attack vulnerable kids and our public schools. Our state deserves a leader who prioritizes our economic livelihoods, not Donald Trump’s culture wars.”
