Kickoff times for six of Nebraska football’s 12 games this season have been set for the 2025 season after an announcement by the Big Ten office and the television partners of the league earlier this week. The highlight matchup against Michigan is slated for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff on Sept. 20. The regular-season ending matchup at home against Iowa has been scheduled for an 11 a.m. kickoff on Nov. 28. The Cornhuskers’ home opener against Akron on Sept. 6 will kickoff at 6:30 p.m., while the Sept. 13 matchup with Houston Christian will start at 11 a.m.
Nebraska’s road game against Minnesota has been moved to Friday, Oct. 17, kicking off at 7 p.m. The Huskers’ homecoming game against Michigan State on Oct. 4 has been scheduled for a morning or early afternoon kickoff, exact kick time to be determined. This information is added to the earlier announcement that Nebraska’s opener against Cincinnati in Kansas City on Aug. 28 will kickoff at 8 p.m.
