Lincoln’s nine city pools officially open today, Thursday, May 29, after several delays due to cold temperatures.
The Parks and Recreation Department says pools will operate daily from 1 to 6 p.m., seven days a week at the following:
Aquatic Centers:
- Star City Shores
- Highlands Aquatic Center
- University Place Aquatic Center
Neighborhood Pools:
- Arnold Heights
- Ballard
- Belmont
- Eden
- Irvingdale
- Woods
Family Swim Nights begin June 2 and run from 6 to 8 p.m., with a $15 fee per family. Each weekday features a different participating pool.
The Trago Sprayground at 22nd and “U” streets is also open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Labor Day.
