Legendary Nebraska defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh will be one of 79 players listed on the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame ballot. This is Suh’s first year of eligibility.
Suh’s 2009 season was one of the most dominant in college football history. He won the Associated Press College Player of the Year, the first defensive player to earn the honor since it was created in 1998. He was the first defensive tackle to be invited to the Heisman Trophy ceremonies since Warren Sapp in 1994. He captured the Outland, Lombardi, Bednarik and Nagurski Awards, while also grabbing the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year.
Suh had 85 tackles, including 24 for loss and 12 sacks and three blocked kicks. He also grabbed an interception, his fourth of his career.
The induction class will be announced early in 2026, with Suh looking to join 20 other former Husker players and seven former NU coaches in the Hall of Fame.
