Lincoln Public Schools will be hosting two interview days this summer to fill nearly 80 open positions across the school district. Job openings include bus drivers, paraeducators, transportation paras, food service workers, food service manager trainees, head bakers, head cooks and custodians.
The first of two interview days will be held June 6 from 12:00 to 4:30 p.m. in the Scott Middle School gymnasium at 22nd and Pine Lake Road. The second interview day will be held July 15 from noon to 4:30 at the North Star High School Commons and Media Center on north 33rd Street.
Walk-ins are welcome, but LPS says interested applicants are strongly encouraged to complete the pre-event application on the LPS website to speed up the process. In order to expedite the interview process, interested candidates will need to bring a few things to fill out the application.
They include an mail address, social security number and driver’s license and at least three references. LPS says include their email addresses so they can send them a survey to complete on your behalf.
In addition, LPS says bring your work history, including the dates of employment, company names, addresses, phone numbers and supervisor names and email addresses. This will be used to verify employment history and employability.
Full-time and part-time employees qualify for competitive health insurance, pension, generous leave and other benefits. For more details click here.
