One man is in the hospital and another in custody following a stabbing at the Long Professional Center near 45th and Normal Blvd around 11:45 Tuesday morning. Police Chief Michon Morrow says when officers arrived they found a victim in a second floor restroom.
Morrow says the victim, who is in his 40’s, was taken to the hospital in critical condition with a stab wound to his upper body. The suspect, identified as 42-year-old Timothy Bowie of Lincoln, has been arrested and was taken to the Lancaster County Jail for where he was booked for 1st degree assault and using a weapon to commit a felony.
“We have a reasonable suspicion that this was related to a potential robbery.” Morrow says they are trying to determine if the men knew each other. The building houses several businesses.
