Lincoln Fire and Rescue battled a deadly fire just after midnight near SW 15th and W. Plum Street. LPD says officers and LFR crews were called to the Harbour West mobile home park at 12:03 a.m. LPD says the initial report was a porch was on fire, however it quickly spread to the trailer home and became fully engulfed.
Three people were evacuated from the burning home, however a 36-year-old Lincoln man was found dead inside the home after the fire was put out. LPD says his name is not being released at this time pending the notification of family.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
