A Lincoln man is facing a long list of charges after Lincoln Police say was found with a gun following a one vehicle crash Friday evening in north Lincoln. LPD says just before 6:00 a silver 2007 Dodge Caliber was southbound on N. 56th when the driver hit the curb, drove into the yard and hit a utility pole.
Investigators say 32-year-old Sabastian Flores of Lincoln walked away but was contacted by officers near the scene. Police say Flores ran from officers and was apprehended several blocks away. Officers found a stolen gun and drugs at the scene.
Flores was arrested and booked into the Lancaster County Jail for resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, careless driving, leaving an accident and failing to furnish information, obstructing a peace officer, first offense DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
