Lancaster County Commissioner Sean Flowerday has launched his campaign for re-election to the County Board of Commissioners in District #1. “I’m proud to say I have led the charge for transformational progress in our county, on public safety, family services, infrastructure, support for small businesses and green energy development, all while cutting the county
tax levy to a historic low,” Flowerday says.
Flowerday was first elected in 2018 and has served as Board Chair twice and as a member of the Board of Health. “As we look ahead, I’m focused on continuing to make Lancaster County a place where families can thrive, where our kids are safe and healthy, our parents are supported, our seniors and veterans have the services they deserve, and our economy is built for the future.”
Flowerday says his top priorities will be fighting for economic development through green energy expansion, small business support, and major investments in tourism infrastructure and promoting public safety with the creation of a Youth and Family Crisis Center to serve at-risk youth and families facing behavioral health challenges.
He is also pledging to provide support for families through expanded child care assistance, voluntary home visitation programs, and services for seniors and veterans.
